National Dairy Month with Pine County Dairy Princesses
June is national dairy month, and Pine County is doing its part in the recognition.
Pine County Dairy Princess Ali Peterson explained the part of being a princess she finds most rewarding is teaching people new things and representing dairy in Pine County.
Princess Leah Nelson spoke on her favorite part of the process in that she can show that there are people who care about dairy.
Princess Ellen Hearth added that they promote dairy because it's important to their families and lifestyles.

Ecumen is looking for golfers to join their tournament this week.
Golfers have a chance to win 10 thousand dollars with the hole in one challenge.
Moose Speaker and Dinner at the Audubon Center
The Audubon Center is partnering with the Minnesota DNR for an event.
Michelle Carstenson of the DNR is speaking about and sharing insights on moose, while giving updates on them as well.
A dinner will also accompany Carstenson’s speech, with appetizers and a full meal.

St. Croix State Park Archery
A local opportunity to try out a new sport is being offered this Friday.
Archery in the Parks is offering hands-on instruction for shooting a bow and arrow in a safe and supportive environment.
The event is aimed at those who have little experience in archery.
Kids must be 8 or older, and those under 15 have to be accompanied by an adult.
Personal archery equipment is not allowed.
No registration is necessary, just meet at the St. Croix Lodge at 4pm on Friday.
