5 Mora Teens With Life-Threatening Injuries in Crash

A single-car crash Friday night near Brunswick Township left five Mora teens with life-threatening injuries.

The crash occurred six miles south of Mora at the intersection of Highways 65 and 70.

The car, driven by 16-year-old Joathan Hentila, crossed over the centerline, overcorrected, left the roadway, and struck a tree.

The other teens in the car were 18-year-old Shelby Anderson, 16-year-old Hope Johnson, 17-year-old Cameron LaFontaine, and 17-year-old Brandon Paxton.

Only 1 of the teens was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, and all 5 inside the car are being treated for life-threatening injuries at North Memorial and Firstlight hospitals.
