The Pine County Sheriff's Office is looking for assistance finding a man accused of sexually assaulting a Hinckley woman.
The assault took place on Tuesday, August 14 at the Grindstone River dam off Dunn ave. The victim was at the dam around 9:30 at night when a man ran up behind her, forced her to the ground, and sexually assaulted her. Cash and other items were stolen from the victim before the suspect headed south towards town.
The suspect is described as an older white male, heavier set with scruffy facial hair. The suspect was wearing dirty clothing and was reported to have smelled like grease or oil.
