The Pine County Sheriff’s Office has received the body armor donated to K9’s Chewy and Chaos.
The donations are made through the organization Vested Interest in K9s, a charity based in Massachusetts.
Both vests were sponsored by residents of Shakopee and are embroidered with the phrase “Honoring those who served and sacrificed.”
The body armor Chaos and Chewy now have will help protect them from gunshots and stab wounds as they continue to patrol Pine County.
These K9 protective vests are valued between $1,744 - $2,283.
