Jason Rarick has been sworn in as the Minnesota State Senator for District 11.
He was sworn into his new position on Wednesday, February 13 after he beat challengers Stu Lourey and John 'Sparky' Birrenbach in a special election to fill the seat vacated by Tony Lourey.
In a video posted to social media Wednesday, Rarick said that he was getting settled into his new office at the Minnesota Senate Building in St. Paul. He welcomes anyone from District 11 to come, say hello, and voice their concerns about what is going on in Minnesota's Capitol.
A special election to now fill Senator Rarick's seat in Minnesota's House.
