Drivers and residents heading through the City of Hinckley in early May may want to find alternate routes as the BNSF has closed the Highway 61 railroad crossing for a couple of days this week.
According to the city, the railroad company won't be doing any major construction, just some electrical work on the signals.
The roadway will be closed on May 10, 11, and 12.
The city says it will be reopened before the state fishing opener on Saturday.
