Pine City Parks and Recreation says they will be removing the porta-potties from Pine City parks.
This announcement comes after vandals targeted the bathrooms over Pine City's Homecoming weekend.
Parks and Recreation Director Stacy O'Rourke says all the porta-potties were flipped on Friday night, with two more were flipped on Sunday. O'Rourke says it cost the city around $140 to fix each ADA compliant bathroom and $95 to fix each standard bathroom.
Typically, the bathrooms are removed by October 31, but the cost associated with clean-up caused them to be removed earlier.
The city asks residents to plan ahead before enjoying any of its parks.
