Pine Technical and Community College Update

 

The leadership of the Pine Technical and Community College recently outlined the successes of the school.

 

Last school year, the college experienced its most positive year in its existence according to President Joe Mulford, who said that the school had its highest enrollment rate ever. 

 

Mulford added that they’re also in an elite group of colleges in Minnesota in the fact that they're growing exponentially. 

 

Pine Technical and Community College prides itself on being one of the most affordable colleges in the state, while still providing a variety of options to its students.

 

 

Firstlight Community Picnic

 

Firstlight Health System is putting on a community picnic this week.

 

The picnic is free to the public with an assortment of food available.

 

It's being held this Wednesday, May 24th, from 5-6:30 at Firstlight Health System in Mora.

 

 

Protecting Possessions Seminar

Ecumen North Branch is presenting an educational class tomorrow, May 23rd from 11:30 am to 1. 

 

The class surrounds how you can protect the possessions that you own in the event you have to replace or repair them.

 

The seminar will introduce coverage options, ways to save, and how to help you develop a policy that best suits you.

 

 

Spring Arts Festival

The Mora Music Booster Club is hosting a spring arts festival.

 

Tonight from 7:30-9:30 at Mora High School, students will present musical performances, art projects, and also an awards ceremony.

 

Students who excel in Art, Band, Choir, Drama, Math League, Knowledge Bowl, Yearbook and Academics will all be honored at the Spring Arts Festival.
