Thanksgiving Gas Prices Down, Traffic Up

November 22, 2017

One of the busiest times of travel each year comes during the week of Thanksgiving.

MnDOT is asking motorists to allow extra time for delays and be aware of the driving conditions, even if that means driving below the speed limit during inclement weather.

Road construction season has all but wound down, with the only major projects in the area being a minor one lane closure in Sturgeon Lake on I-35 and and single lane closures on highway 65 in Cambridge.

It's being reported that gas prices will also be dropping, giving drivers some relief.
