North Branch and Cambridge-Isanti Football Moved up due to Weather

August 29, 2018

News Director

The North Branch Vikings and Cambridge-Isanti Blue Jackets football games have been moved up due to tonight's potential severe weather.

Cambridge-Isanti will now play in Sartell at 3:00 pm. This is the first game of the season with interim coach Shane Weibel. Weibel took over just two days ago after head coach Dave Frisell resigned. Frisell had only been with the team for a couple of weeks.

The North Branch Vikings game was moved up as well. They will play today at 4:00 against the Princeton Tigers. That game will be played at Chisago Lakes high school due to the renovations going on at North Branch. You can listen to that game on 100.9 FM

Other games tonight include East Central at Crosby-Ironton and Mora at Grand Rapids. Both of those games are still scheduled for 7:00pm
