Cambridge Man Killed after Striking Tree in Isanti County Crash

A Cambridge man is dead after his truck hit a tree early Wednesday morning. 

 

According to an Isanti County Sheriff's Report, authorities received a call around 1:10 a.m. about a 2003 Ford Ranger pickup truck that had struck a tree at the intersection of Polk St. NE and 417th ave. NE in Stanchfield Township. 

 

The truck was driven by 37-year-old Lucas Howard Gleason of Cambridge. Gleason's truck was the only vehicle involved in the crash, and he was declared dead at the scene. 

 

The Isanti County Sheriff's Office is handling the investigation. The report went onto say that toxicology will be performed to help determine the cause of the crash.
