A 55-year-old Sandstone woman is dead following a two-car collision on Henriette Rd.

According to a press release from the Pine County Sheriff's Office, Pine County 911 received a call about a motor vehicle crash just after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 8. The caller reported that two vehicles had collided at the intersection of Henriette Rd and Brook Park Rd.

First Responders to the scene found multiple occupants of the two vehicles that had been involved, a Chevrolet pickup and a Nissan Rogue.

Paula J. Hadler, the driver of the pickup, was found to be deceased at the scene, and a passenger of the pickup was taken to a local hospital with severe injuries.

An initial investigation and witness statements say that Hadler had failed to stop sign while traveling northbound on Brook Park Rd, and The Nissan was eastbound on Henriette Rd and collided with the pickup in the intersection.
