Braham hosted East Central on Thursday night!
The Bombers were looking to win their 3rd straight conference game of the season, while the Eagles were looking for their 2nd conference win.
Both teams got off to a sloppy start, missed layups, miss assignments and turnovers plagued both teams in the early going. But eventually Braham was able to get things going, they did a good job of giving themselves 2nd and 3rd chances offensively. Defensively, they were playing full court press and suffocated the Eagles. East Central was unable to get past the timeline for a handful of minutes. The Bombers seemed to get a turnover almost every time on defense. But like the Bombers, the Eagles were able to find a way to break through. And slowly but surely got their offense going. But Braham set a pace that was hard to keep up with and they lead by double digits for most of the 1st half. Late in the half, East Central was able to score some tough buckets through traffic. But Braham still held a lead at half 43-12.
The Bombers offense started right where they left off and although they backed off on the pace, they still scored enough. The Eagles battled in the 2nd half and played better, giving the ball away less and made smarter decisions with the ball. But Braham was able to get the win 68-25.
Braham improves to 4-1 on the season and will host Holdingford on Monday.
East Central moves to 1-1 on the young season and will play in Ogilvie Tuesday.
