The Lady Dragons traveled to Mora on Friday night. These two teams met a week before and the Dragons were able to hold on for a tight win. But this time the game was in Mora, with alot on the line. Not just a conference win, but a section win, which would help both teams elevate their seedings for playoffs. East Central traveled to Mora on Monday night. Both teams have a lot of youth on their squads but the youth is very talented and continues to improve as the season goes along.

Pine City hosted Mora on Friday night. The Mustangs came in with one win on the season, while Pine City was still searching for their first. The Dragons came in with many believing, including themselves, they could and probably should be a least a 4-1 squad. Mora while only one win so far, certainly showed they were taking the right steps in their growth as a team.

Hinckley-Finlayson hosted Mora on Thursday night. Coming into the night, the Jags had not won a game and had only won 3 sets, while the Mustangs were top six in the section and looked to keep pace with the top spot in the conference. In both the first two sets Mora had jumped out to an early lead and took control early.

Thursday night a Great River battle in Rush City was held. Both Mora and Rush City came into the night with undefeated records in the early season. Despite holding leads in each of the three sets, Mora fell in straight sets to Rush City. Never was a lead more than 8 points by either team. The Tigers fought their way to a 25-17, 25-23, 25-21 victory.

The Tigers played two games on Wednesday, the first vs Mora and the second vs Ogilvie. The Tigers had a chance to once again capture the conference crown, but would need to win both games. Having already played two games to start the week, they would need to push through some fatigue.
