Lady Dragons tennis Head Coach Kristin Unverzagt provides an update from state.
The Dragons battled hard in the state tournament today(10/25). We started the day with a tough match against Rochester Lourdes and fell 3-4. We battled back with a big win in the second round with a 7-0 victory over Luverne.
In the first match, our doubles teams came ready to play and dominated their net play to close out and play strong. Our singles also battled hard against strong Lourdes players.
In our second match, the girls came fired up and ready to play. They utilized their strengths with their footwork and shot selection.
We will play St. James in the consolation finals at noon tomorrow(10/26).
