Rush City Season Ends in Section Championship
Rush City played Ekso in the section championship on Saturday.
The Tigers played in Hermantown on Saturday afternoon to defend their section title against Esko. The Tigers and Esko played against each other for the 4th year in a row, with Rush City winning the previous three.

Rush City played Crosby-Ironton on Wednesday night.
The Tigers played in Hermantown against the Rangers in the section semi final. This was a game Rush City was looking forward to. They had lost to them during the regular season and were looking for some revenge.

Bombers Fall in Semi-Finals
A new section for the Braham Bombers volleyball squad means new opponents as well. Braham met one of those opponents in the semi-final on Tuesday night. The six-seed Bombers earned the right to travel to White Bear Lake to face to two-seed Liberty Classical Academy Lions after defeating the third-seed, Heritage Christian Academy.

Chisago Lakes Sweeps Edison in Straight Sets
Chisago Lakes hosted Minneapolis Edison on Wednesday night.
The Wildcats came into the playoffs having won 4 of their last 5 games.
Early on both teams were getting out the playoff jitters. But eventually both sides settled into a groove. Early in the 1st set Edison was able to keep it close, but sooner than later the Wildcats shifted the game in their favor. They would dominate the rest of the set winning set 1 25-9.

Dragons Defeat Mora to Advance to Section Semi Finals
Pine City hosted Mora on Tuesday night.
For the 2nd time in nearly as many weeks, the Dragons and Mustangs would hit the field for their rivalry game. The last time out, Pine City was able to get the shutout win at home. But this time, there was more on the line than just pride, the winner would move on to the section semi finals on Saturday.

'25 Volleyball Playoff Outlook
Fall playoffs have begun! Let’s see how area volleyball teams fared and who they’ll play. Class A Section 4 (6) Braham 9-17 The Bombers finished strong and earned a six-seed in their section. They will host the winner of Sejong Academy and St. Paul City on Thursday. The Bombers haven’t played either squad this season. Section 5 (3) Mille Lacs 11-16 The Raiders picked up the third seed in their sub-section. They will host Upsala on Wednesday. Mille Lacs defeated the Cardinals
