Lady Dragons Down the Rebels on Friday

Pine City hosted MLWR on Friday night.

The Dragons were looking to finish off the long week strong.

Pine City was able to get off to a good start against the Rebels. They set the pace offensively and the defense was suffocating. It didn't take long for Pine City to open up a double digit lead. They continued to control much of the 1st half and confidence was high. But the Rebels were able to finish off the half strong scoring 6 points to cut the lead down to 18, 34-18.

The Dragons continued their success in the 2nd half and it wasn't long before their lead grew to 30 points. And being up by as much as they were, they were able to take their foot off the gas and even work in some younger players. The Dragons continued to play well through the final buzzer and they came away with the win 65-37.
