Rush City Finishes Comeback in Final moments against Hinckley-Finlayson
Rush City hosted Hinckley-Finlayson on Wednesday night.
The Tigers came into the regular season finale having won on homecoming night, while the Jags lost to a tough Aitkin team on their own homecoming.
The Tigers received the opening kickoff, and only needed two plays to get a first down. But they were then stopped and forced to punt after the next three plays. On the punt would come the first score, the Jags Jacob Lyons Jr went 57 yards for a punt return touchdown. Th

Pine County 4-H member named 2025-26 Minnesota 4-H Agriculture Ambassador
Pine County 4-H member Owen Johnson has been selected as a 2025-2026 Minnesota 4-H Agriculture Ambassador. Johnson, a 12th-grader from Hinckley, has participated in 4-H for eight years. According to a news release from extension educator Sarah Odendahl, Johnson will represent Pine County as one of 27 youth leaders from across the state chosen for the role.
