The summer of road construction in Pine County continues this week, with two major closures.
The northbound ramps off of I-35 heading into and out of Pine City will be closed for the next two weeks, starting Wednesday, June 13. These new closures are part of the ongoing project to replace seven miles of I-35 as well as the bridges of the Snake River.
MnDOT is expecting slow going through the area, especially late in the week due to Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth this weekend. It’s recommended that travelers travel in off-peak hours and to slow down in work areas.
