The State Track and Field meet is a great time to not only post the best time of the year but also to break a school record.
Pine City's 4x400m Relay of Tryston West, Caleb Fromm, Tommy Ryan, and Logan Vinaja qualified for the State final by running the 3rd fastest time of both prelims with a new school record time of 3:25.96. This beats the previous school record of 3:28.39 from 1999.
Alaina Steele also qualified for the final in the 800m with her best time of the year: 2:19.25.
The State Tournament continues Saturday at Hamline University.
