A Grantsburg man is dead following a motorcycle crash early Sunday morning.
According to law enforcement, a deputy was called to County Road D around 3:20 a.m., where they found the deceased rider, motorcycle, and dead deer in the ditch.
Based on the scene, the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on County Road D and struck the deer causing the rider to be ejected from the motorcycle.
The victim was identified as a 39-year-old Grantsburg man.
The Grantsburg Police Department and the Burnett County Medical Examiner’s Office assisted in the crash.
