Guns and Drugs Discovered during Burnett Co. Traffic Stop

An early Tuesday morning traffic stop led St. Croix Tribal Police to discover drugs and guns.

The vehicle was stopped on Highway 70 for speeding when law enforcement said the office spotted a glass pipe in plain view on the car's center console.

Both the driver, Katie Schwoerer, and the passenger, Jon Isker, were detained by authorities while the car was searched conducted, revealing a loaded Glock 40, a loaded uzi style handgun, and a .22WMR rifle.

Along with the guns, officers found 1.32 grams of methamphetamine and 2 grams of marijuana.

Schwoerer is facing charges of speeding, drug possession, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Isker is facing charges of drug possession, carry a concealed firearm, and felon in possession of a firearm.
