A 44-year-old Harris man is dead following a motorcycle crash in Chisago County on October 9.
According to a report, the man was riding late at night in Fish Lake Township when he crashed. Initial information said that the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash. No cause was given for the incident, but law enforcement noted that the area he was riding in was wooded and deer were active at the time.
The driver of the motorcycle was airlifted from the scene by Life Link and transported to Hennepin Health Trauma Center for his injuries, where he later died from his injuries on Oct. 15.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation by the Chisago County Sheriff's Office.
