A 23-year-old Minneapolis man has died after falling while reportedly rock climbing in Taylors Falls.
According to the Chisago County Sheriff's Office, responders were called to the Lower Landing Area of Interstate Park around 4:00 p.m. on March 25 with the report of two victims who were rock climbing.
One victim was found conscious, and the other unconscious and not breathing. Life-saving efforts were performed; however, he was later pronounced dead. The conscious victim, a 31-year-old from Savage, was transported to St. Croix Falls Hospital in WI. He was then flown to Regions Hospital Trauma Center.
The incident remains under investigation.
