One Dead Following Head-on Crash in Dresser Wis.

One person is dead and two people are injured following a crash in Polk County, Wisconsin Wednesday.


The Polk County Sheriff's Office says the collision occurred at 6:35 p.m. on STH 35 in the Village of Dresser when a Ford Escape collided head-on with a Ford Explorer. The press release went onto say that the driver of the Escape needed to be extricated from the vehicle but later died of their injuries at the hospital.


The occupants of the second vehicle, an adult female and male child, were taken to a New Richmond area hospital for minor non-life threatening injuries.
