A Friday morning house fire in Pine City is currently being investigated for arson.
According to the Pine County Sheriff's Office, dispatch received a call of a structure fire at 500 5th Ave SE in Pine City just before 6:30 a.m. on June 10.
Pine County Deputies and Investigators responded along with Pine City, Rush City, and Hinckley Fire Departments. The fire was deemed suspicious and the State Fire Marshal was contacted.
This fire is suspected to be caused by arson and anyone with information is urged to contact the Pine County Sheriff’s Office (320-629-8380) or the Arson Hotline at 1-800-723-2020.
There are rewards of up to $2500 for information leading to the ID of persons responsible for this fire
