The Pine City School Board is now accepting applications to fill the seat left empty following the resignation of Dr. Lisa Nos-Tollefson on March 18.
Dr. Nos-Tollefson's term on the board lasts through January of next year.
Applications can be found on the school district's website, along with a community survey for what people are looking for in Pine City's next superintendent.
Applicants must be at least 21-years-old and fill out an affidavit of candidacy along with a questionnaire that will give the current board a picture as to why they would be a good fit for the position.
The board will then hold a special board meeting on April 11 to discuss the applicants and select one to be appointed during an upcoming meeting in May.
School board applications are due by Thursday, April 7.
