Two were sent to the hospital Friday after a Ford pickup truck and a State Patrol Ford Explorer collided on the I35 overpass near Sandstone.
According to the State Patrol, the trooper was traveling eastbound on Highway 23 when he attempted a left turn onto the northbound I35 entrance ramp. It was there the Explorer struck the pickup truck.
Both the State Trooper and the driver of the pick-up truck were taken to Essentia Sandstone for non-life-threatening injuries.
