A 33-year-old Wisconsin woman has been sentenced for her role in an incident that left a Webster man dead in march of 2020.
According to court records, Tara Appleton pled no contest to the charges of second-degree reckless homicide and hit and run involving death.
Appleton was driving a vehicle that the victim was riding on top of when he reportedly fell and died from a head injury.
Appleton was sentenced to four and a half years in prison and four years of extended supervision for each count. Both sentences will be served concurrently.
