BREAKING: Hazardous Chemical Truck Crashes in Ogilvie

Overnight last night a truck carrying hazardous chemicals careened and rolled off the road in Ogilvie near St. Paul Lutheran Church. The truck was severely damaged, however, the driver only sustained non-life threatening injuries. The content of the tanker is sodium hydroxide.

The area is currently sanctioned off by authorities, and the truck itself is not leaking.

The Kanabec County Sheriff's Office has said that the chemical does not pose a risk to citizens, despite taking the precaution of warning citizens that the truck is nearby in the event of an evacuation.

Highway 23 will remain closed until it's cleared.
