Class Back in Session at Pine Technical and Community College
Students were welcomed back yesterday to Pine Technical and Community College for the first day of classes this school year.
As of the most recent numbers, roughly 2500 students are enrolled at the Tech and Community College, with 61% being part time.

Cambridge Movies in the Park Final Week
The final movie in the park this summer in Cambridge is this week.
Funded through the arts and cultural heritage fund, Movies in the Park has been hosted four times throughout August, with the finale this week.
Held at Central Green Park on August 25th at dusk, the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe can be seen free to the public.
The public is encouraged to bring a blanket and a chair however.
Rubies Pantry Back in Regular Meeting Place
The food pop up pantry in Pine City is back in its regular location this month.
Rubys pantry is August 24th from 5-6:30 at the Pine City Armory and a $20 cash donation is appreciated at the door.
St. Croix State Park Events this Weekend
A variety of programs are available this weekend at St. Croix State Park in Hinckley.
On Friday a class on camping knots will be taught by the resident naturalist.
Saturday features a trail hike where participants can learn about and identify wild edibles in nature.
Encompassing the entire weekend, the nature store and interpretive center will be open, where other resources are available to use.
