Drone Course Being Offered at Pine Technical and Community College
A new course offered at Pine Technical and Community College lets those interested- into the expanding world of drones.
The course gives attendees the tools to succeed when it comes time to take the test to receive their license to fly a drone for more than a hobby.
Sean Stevens, who will teach the course at Pine Technical and Community College said that the course only takes six weeks to complete.
Stevens added that getting the certificate is the true gateway of breaking into the drone business.

PC Sheriff’s Office K9 receives certification
A Pine County Sheriff’s Department K9 recently received a national certification.
Deputy Neel and K9 Chewy participated in the United States Police Canine Association Region 21 certifications held August 28th and 29th.
The yearly trials test the K-9 teams on: obedience, agility, article searches, suspect search and suspect apprehension.
K9 Chewy was the first K9 unit brought back to Pine County thanks to local support in 2016, followed by K9 Chaos who was added in June.
Park Heritage Weekend at St. Croix State Park
