PRESS RELEASE:
On October 21st at 12:51 PM a Pine County Deputy took a report of an overdue motorist from family. The report indicated that the motorist was on his motorcycle, had not arrived home the previous night and now missed a family event. Deputies along with family drove the area from Henriette where the missing person was last reported to be near, around Pine City, but did not locate the missing person.
On Sunday October 22nd at approximately 09:30 am a call was received from a pilot flying the area reporting what appeared to be a crashed motorcycle and body off the roadway near Henriette Rd and Bayside Loop. Deputies and ambulance responded to the scene. Located at the crash scene was the man reported missing on October 21st. The man was pronounced deceased and family was notified.
The deceased driver has been identified as Clay Drevecky age 42 of Rock Creek. The accident remains under investigation by the Pine County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office.
