Rush City announced Friday they'd entered contract negotiations with future superintendent William Campbell, formerly of Fair Street International Academy in Gainesville, Georgia.
The negotiations with Campbell should be a formality as the school's website announced he'd begin on July 1st.

"The Rush City Board of Education is pleased to announce that they have selected to enter into contract negotiations with Mr. William Campbell to be their new Superintendent.
His educational background includes coursework for ED.D, Liberty University; Specialist in Educational Leadership from Tennessee Technological University; Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Tennessee Technological University; Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Tennessee Temple University.
He has been an elementary teacher in Hamilton County Schools, Chattanooga, Tennessee and Whitfield County Schools in Dalton, Georgia. He has also been Assistant Principal for Gainesville City Schools in Gainesville, Georgia and is currently the Principal at the Fair Street International Academy in the Gainesville City School System in Gainesville, Georgia. He will begin his work in Rush City on July 1, 2018."
