Hinckley-Finlayson dispatched the Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds with such ease Thursday morning you'd think they were going for a nice morning stroll. In a game that wasn't close at any point, the Jaguars moved on to the second round of the Class A Consolation tournament with an 88-66 victory over the Thunderbirds.
The Jags used the same recipe that bested them a day prior to beat the Thunderbirds with fast play and tough interior defense. They'll play Rushford-Peterson Saturday morning at 8 AM at Concordia-St. Paul.
