A Cambridge man is recovering after he was bound and robbed at gunpoint on Friday evening.
The owner said that upon arrival at his home, he came across two masked men inside. One of the men aimed a gun at the homeowner and ordered him to the floor. The two suspects bound and assaulted the man, who was later treated for injuries at Cambridge Medical Center.
The duo of thieves made off with a large sum of cash and several guns during the robbery. After they exited the house, the man was able to unbind himself and contact authorities. The case is still under investigation, and it's believed that the man may have been targeted by the suspects.
