Pig Leads Pine County Sheriff's Deputy on Wild Goose Chase

A small pig managed to lead Pine County Sheriff's Deptuties on a wild goose before ultimately giving authorities the slip.

According to the Pine County Sheriff's Office, the petite porker was originally spotted on Highway 70, near Pine City.

Passersby tried to catch the slippery swine but were unable to lure it in, so they contacted the Sheriff's Office due to traffic concerns.

The animal eventually evaded the deputy and ran into a nearby swamp to scoff at its would be captors before completely disappearing into the woods.

At this time, no one has reported a missing animal or seen the pig wandering up and down the road.
