After months of work from staff and encouragement from parents, girls hockey will be coming to the Pine City High School.
At the June 10 board meeting, Athletic Director Bill Christianson presented his full proposal for the program.
After answering questions from the board, Christianson said that he feels confident with the program's sustainability, and the school board unanimously approved the measure.
Christianson's current timeline has the team's first practice on October 28, 2020. Their first game is scheduled for November 9, 2020.
