A woman who walked off her Sentence to Serve Crew while working in Sandstone is now back in custody after being arrested by Pine County authorities on October 30.
Sarah Beth Ziwicki escaped on September 23, 2019, while working at the North Pine Government Center for a non-violent drug offense. The 29-year-old was found by law enforcement in an apartment in Sandstone hiding in closet. She had been at large for 37 days.
Ziwicki now faces a charge of Escape From Custody-Held Pursuant to Lawful Arrest, which carries a possible sentence of no more than five years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.
