New Pine City Nonprofit looks to Create Community Connections

Updated: Dec 12, 2019

The Snow Angel Project, a new nonprofit in the Pine City area, is looking to spread joy and build community connections this year.

Founder Jeremiah Mohr said, "The holiday season is a tough season for a lot of people. Whether they don't have any family visiting or money is tight, we want to make sure that we bring Christmas cheer to everyone in the community."

The Snow Angel Project is looking to spread this cheer by handing out baskets to those nominated by community members. These baskets contain food for a holiday meal, some contain snacks, and others contain a special surprise for those who do not want food.

Nominees must live within a ten-mile radius of Pine City. To nominate a family or person, you can contact New Horizons Thrift Store in Pine City at (320) 279-0927 before Monday, December 16.

Monetary donations are also excepted at New Horizons. They ask that all checks are made payable to ICC Snow Angel Project.
