Lady Dragons tennis Head Coach Kristin Unverzagt tells us about the action from Saturday's invite in Hibbing.
The Pine City girls had a great showing in the Hibbing Invitational this past weekend. The girls had great matches and it was the best play the girls have exhibited this season. It is so exciting to see them grow their game both physically and mentally. The strong schools that were in attendance allowed our team to have great matches and continue to get better.
Malia Mikyska also had her 100th varsity win this past weekend. This is an awesome accomplishment for her as only 8 other Dragons tennis players have done this over the years!
Overall as a team, we tied for 2nd place with Stillwater.
