East Central Drug and Violent Offender Task Force executes narcotics search warrant in Shafer

The East Central Drug and Violent Offender Task Force executed a narcotics search warrant in Shafer on Thursday as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal drug activity.

According to a news release, the warrant was executed near the 30000 block of Redwing Avenue.

The release states that the operation followed an investigation into suspected narcotics-related offenses at the location. Multiple individuals were detained at the scene.

Law enforcement recovered suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, and illegally possessed prescription pills.

The task force thanked the Chisago County Sheriff's Office, K-9 Unit, and drone team, and the Chisago and Pine County SWAT teams for their assistance.
