East Central Drug and Violent Offenders Task Force executes Pine City warrant

A search warrant executed by members of the East Central Drug and Violent Offenders Task Force resulted in a Pine City arrest on Tuesday.

According to a news release, the warrant was executed in the 800 block of 4th Avenue Southwest.

Two individuals were detained during the operation. 

The release states that as a result of the investigation, 61-year-old John David Simon was arrested and charged with a felony count of second-degree sale of a controlled substance and possession of ammunition by a prohibited person.

The Pine County Sheriff's Office SWAT team assisted with the operation.
