Highway 23 between Askov and Sandstone will be closed and detoured starting on July 8 for pavement resurfacing.
According to MnDOT, the roadway will be closed between the Kettle River and Askov.
Motorists will be directed to take County Road 142 to Highway 123 to Highway 23.
Bridge work over I-35 that previously required a detour has been completed.
The project costs $5.34 million and is scheduled to go through August.
