Hinckley-Finlayson Public Schools investigates threat directed at high school

Hinckley-Finlayson Public Schools is investigating a threat directed toward the district's high school.

According to a notice from superintendent Brian Masterson, high school staff were made aware of a threat for Friday, Dec. 13 at the high school after school hours on Thursday.

The school district is working with the Pine County Sheriff's Office to investigate the threat.

Masterson said no threats were directed at the Finlayson or Hinckley elementary schools.

The district made the decision to have school as scheduled on Friday.
