Lady Dragons End Conference Season on a High Note

Dragons HC Kristin Unverzagt with the update.

The Dragons wrapped up our conference season with a strong 5-2 win over Crosby-Ironton.  Our doubles showed their strength with their net play to capitalize on the points.  Our singles battled hard and did a great job attacking the net and creating opportunities.  The girls continue to improve each time we play.

We need to keep working hard to improve and prepare for our next goals in the section tournament.

We also clinched the conference as co-champions with Pequot Lakes or Little Falls.  Those two teams were playing tonight and we would be tied with the winner for one win each and share the conference title with them.

We will head to Foley on Saturday for the conference doubles tournament.

The first round of section matches will be next Thursday.
