Lady Dragons Season Closes with Team Banquet

Head Coach Unverzagt tells us how the teams season officially ended.

We wrapped up our tennis season celebrating our JV and Varsity seasons at our team banquet tonight.  The girls had a lot to celebrate at all levels.  We had a strong and competitive JV season with 24 tie break matches played!  Our varsity had a lot to celebrate as the section and conference champions.  They also earned all state academic gold as a team and conference academic champions with a team GPA of 3.95.

Alana Linnell, Brooke Boland, Vivian Lahti, and Kate Unverzagt earned All-Conference honors.

Mallory Clepper and Kendall Steele earned All Conference- Honorable Mention honors.

The seniors (Alana Linnell, Brooke Boland, Alayna Fauskee, Kendall Steele, Mallory Clepper, and Vivian Lahti) all earned the academic all state senior gold award for their work in the classroom and on the court.  

Anna Miller also earned the section 7A assistant coach of the year award.  

I also want to thank our parents and coaching staff for all of their time and dedication.  We share our team's successes with them!

It has been a fun season and we cannot wait to get rolling again in 288 days!
