Pine City Dominates in Conference Win

The Dragons hosted the Bombers last night.

Right from tip the Dragons offense was off to a red hot start. Pine City scored 20 straight points before Braham got on the board. The defense for the Dragons was not allowing anything easy for the Bombers. They took the ball away and scored off of the turnovers, and this helped them continue to dominate in the 1st half. The Dragons seemingly couldn't miss as everything they shot went through the hoop. As the teams went into the locker room for half, the Dragons were up 72-18. Cole Waxberg had 25 points in half number one.

The 2nd half was much of the same, but Pine City got their bench players in early in the 2nd half. Braham was able to find more open shots and produced more on offense. But the Dragons bench continued to score and put the game further out of reach. Pine City won the game 107-40.

The Dragons stay at the top of the Great River Conference with another win and are now 12-5 on the season. They will host Rush City on Friday in a rematch of their earlier game. Braham is now 4-12 on the year, and host Hinckley-Finlayson on Friday.
