The City of Pine City has announced that they will be conducting an accuracy test of their voting equipment in early August in advance of the Primary Elections being held on August 9.
The test will be conducted at city hall in the council chambers starting at 10:30 a.m. on August 4.
According to the city, this is a standard test that should take about an hour.
Pine County recently purchased new voting equipment, and this test is to make sure everything is running correctly before the primary.
The test is open to representatives of political parties, candidates, the press, and the public.
