Webster man arrested after vehicle strikes pedestrian in Lincoln

The Burnett County Sheriff's Office is investigating a case where a vehicle struck a pedestrian in the town of Lincoln in the early hours of Sunday, Nov. 2.
According to a news release from the Burnett County Sheriff's Office, dispatch received a call from a person reporting he had struck a pedestrian near the intersection of County Highway FF and Perida Road just after 1 a.m.
Law enforcement, EMS, and fire personnel were dispatched to the site of the incident.
The pedestrian was treated by EMS at the scene and airlifted to a Twin Cities hospital for further medical care. The release states that their medical condition is unknown at this time.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 37-year-old Webster resident Luke Beechler. He was arrested for causing injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle.
The case is still under investigation. The Siren Police Department, Webster Fire Department, and North Ambulance and Air Care assisted the sheriff's office at the scene.
